Crafting historically inspired items that set you and your gear apart!

This horn and bag set was crafted for the Wilderness Road Muzzleloaders. The bag is made from 2 oz. vegetable-tanned leather and is completely hand stitched. The leather was dyed with homemade harness dye and has been lightly distressed to give it an aged look. The pouch is fully lined with linen and has a hanging pocket inside. The banded horn is of a Virginia/North Carolina style with a single band, applied horn tip, and a walnut base plug. The patch knife is homespun from an old saw blade and antler tine.

The bag is a bench copy of an original pouch found in Eastern Tennessee. It measures 6 inches wide by 4.5 inches tall. The horn was inspired by several examples attributed to East Tennessee.
